This bookshop was established in 1977 and is situated across three floors and many rooms, although there was a much earlier bookshop on the site during the Victorian period.

Nowadays they stock a wide variety of products, including new, second hand and antiquarian books, as well as a large selection of maps. They hold regular author events throughout the year from book signings and launches to author talks.
