Morecambe has lots to do over the Easter holidays.

HERITAGE GUIDED WALK

On Easter Saturday, the 31st March, take a trip into the past with Peter Wade as he leads a guided walk around the old village of Poulton-le-Sands, its lost Manor House, two town halls and a hidden gem – Morecambe’s Victorian cemetery.

Meet outside the Police Station in Poulton Square for this fascinating glimpse into history.

And if you can’t get along to Peter’s walk, try our self guided trail of the town. Just a short 2-mile stroll, this route will give you an insight into Morecambe’s rich past and the industries which have shaped it today.

Morecambe’s Festival Market is all geared up for Easter.

The confectionery stall has Easter Eggs and sweet treats galore, whilst the haberdashers is getting ready for Easter bonnets by stocking all the trimmings to make your beautiful creations. Spring flowers will be blooming ready for sale and there’ll be everything you need from meat to veg to eggs for your special Easter dinner and even your Easter cakes.

So come along and browse – we’d love to see you – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm (4.30pm winter) and all Bank Holidays from Easter to August.

The Nashville Teens were formed in the early 1960s and had many hit records. The band have toured with and backed the legendary Chuck Berry.

Chris Difford with special guest Boo Hewerdine

Chris Difford is a rare breed. As a member of one of London’s best-loved bands, the Squeeze co-founder has made a lasting contribution to English music.

Boo Hewerdine’s first tentative steps came with the band, The Great Divide before the formation of the critically acclaimed group ͞The Bible͟ and a career that subsequently bloomed.
