We’ve caught up with the mia.mio team to find out a little bit more about the business. Here’s what they said…

To combine our two other award winning brands – Miaitalia (pizza) and Miogelato (gelato) in a less formal setting, so essentially a takeaway with seating, where customers can choose how’d they prefer to enjoy.

We keep it simple. The quality and consistency of what we produce, combining the best local produce with high quality Italian ingredients with an attention to detail that’s helped us win national awards for both our pizza and gelato.

Despite the seasonality of trade in Morecambe, we endeavour to open seven days a week (sometimes weather permitting!), we’re always developing new gelato flavours and so our autumn/winter menu choices will reflect the time of year – and on cold days the pizza oven not only produces our amazing pizza, it also keeps our inside space nice and warm!
