What’s Open

As of the 17th May, most non-essential shops and hospitality venues are reopen.


When planning a visit, please check with the venue to ensure that they are open and can accommodate you. They may have a maximum capacity and there may be pre-booking systems and table-service systems in place. Please wear a face overing if required, continue to observe social distancing and be prepared to check in using the NHS Covid-19 app.





Pubs, cafes and restaurants in England are now reopen for indoor and outdoor meals and drinks – browse a list of places to Eat and Drink here.

Events such as weddings, funerals and parties may still be restricted – see the latest guidance here.





Hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, hostels and caravan and camping sites are now open in England as of 17th May – browse local accommodation here.


Leisure Venues



Leisure venues in England are now open as of 17th May, browse our local attractions including sports, fitness and leisure centres, children’s play centres, heritage attractions, parks, arts centres and other visitor attractions. Please check any booking or capacity requirements before visiting a leisure venue or attraction.
