David Stewart’s ‘Fogeys’ Exhibition is currently running at The White Elephant Contemporary Gallery, Morecambe until 6th July .
‘Fogeys’ is a collection of images by David Stewart, celebrating growing old disgracefully. Comprising upbeat, positive photographs of elderly people in a series of unpredictable situations, Fogeys includes amusing shots of old men dangling their feet inside freshly dug graves and flying down hills on homemade go-karts.
The prints were last exhibited when the series launched in 2001 as a book and exhibition at The Institute of Contemporary Arts and then went on to win a Silver Award at the Art Directors Club of New York.
