Owned and managed by business partners Liam Law and Andrea Wren, The Brief Encounter Refreshment Room in Carnforth has reopened.

Made famous by featuring in the 1945 film Brief Encounter, this quirky, nostalgic bistro and bar has been faithfully restored to its 1940’s period glory and offers a superb range of home made food, licensed bar and top quality hot beverages. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea all served daily with evening meals from Thursday to Sunday. The Brief Encounter Refreshment Room could be the perfect place to visit, especially for all you film buffs out there!

Monday to Wednesday – 7.30am to 4pm;
Thursday – 7.30am to 10.30pm;
Friday to Saturday – 7.30am to 11pm
Sunday – 9am to 9pm
