Some of the venues listed below may require booking ahead of time, please check their website before heading out.
A fantastic micro-pub and brewery located on the tracks of Carnforth train station. Offering a fantastic selection of beers and ales, this tiny pub could be the perfect choice for an afternoon pint, especially for you train lovers out there!
Founded in 2011 in a 300 year old barn, the Old School Brewery offers a range of their own brewed beer for you to enjoy. Located in the picturesque village of Warton, this rather unique, rustic pub has plenty of outdoor seating, perfect for those warm summer evenings, especially on evenings with live music!
This micro-pub, located in the beautiful village of Bare just east of Morecambe, features a rotating selection of beers and a fantastic environment in which to drink them! If you’re a lover of craft ales and small, intimate spaces where the emphasis is old fashioned and simple, look no further than The Little Bare.
Situated opposite the famous Eric Morecambe statue, the King’s Arms is one of Morecambe’s favourite food and drinks venues. A traditional pub located on Morecambe promenade, offering a great selection of beers, live sports and an outdoor drinking area, why not head on down?
A fantastic example of a historic pub, located a short way inland from the town’s seafront promenade, The Smugglers Den claims to be Morecambe’s oldest pub, being build around 1640. There are also rumours of a secret hidden passage leading to the seafront that smugglers used to use, not to mention the spooky goings on and lingering spirits that allegedly haunt the building!
One of Morecambe’s most recognisable buildings, this iconic art-deco masterpiece has sat on Morecambe’s sea front for over 80 years, offering fantastic panoramic views out over Morecambe Bay! With a selection of beers available and a beer garden to the rear, it could be the perfect choice for a warm summer evening or some afternoon drinks.
Together with the live music venue The Platform, the Station Promenade Pub rose from the ashes of Morecambe’s old train station, managing to retain many of the station’s historic features! This results in a fantastic dining and drinking experience with a wonderful atmosphere, all right on Morecambe’s seafront. If you’re looking for a spacious and grand location for an evening drink, not many places have the ‘wow factor’ that the Station Promenade does!
Another one of Morecambe’s fantastic traditional pubs, located right on the sea-front and offering a fantastic selection of drinks, and as part of the Lancaster Brewery family you can be sure they serve some great cask ales! If you’re looking for a warm, friendly pub with regular live music, quizzes and sports, look no further than The Palatine!
Located a bit more inland than other places mentioned on this list, The Brew House is a fantastic craft ale and beer bar serving the fantastic beers brewed on-site at Cross Bay Brewery. They pride themselves in handcrafting beer with little to no automation, to ensure that the beer is of the highest quality possible! With Craft Ales, Gin, Whisky and Rum Bar, Live Sport and Live Entertainment, there’s sure to be something here for everyone! Make sure you don’t miss out on this fantastic place!
