No matter how you’re travelling here, Morecambe can be easily reached from all over the UK. Being only a short drive from the M6’s Junction 34, and easily accessed via Rail and Bus, Morecambe is the perfect place to visit!
By Rail
There are local services to Morecambe from the West Coast Mainline which enjoys a regular service between London and Scotland. There are also local services to Heysham and Carnforth along with links to other regional stations like Leeds and Manchester.

By Road
If you are arriving by car, exit at Junction 34 and take the newly built Bay Gateway, which will take you directly into Morecambe.
Arriving by electric car? There are several electric car charging points in and around Morecambe town centre, but please check availability before making the journey.
Morecambe has plenty of parking available, with several large car parks and spaces available along the sea front.

Morecambe Bus Station is in the town centre and is served by both Stagecoach and the National Express.

Morecambe’s nearest major Airports are Manchester International and Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which are about 1 hour’s travel away. There is a regular train service between Manchester Airport and Lancaster.

By Bike
Morecambe is located on the main National Cycle Network Route 69 (East to West). It is also one end of the famous Way of the Roses, a 170 mile coast-to-coast cycle route which passes through the historic cities of York and Lancaster before ending in Bridlington on the East coast.
